VICTORY ROAD RESIDENCE

LOCATION

Corrin lives in Ecruteak City in a rented house! So far he's the only tenant, but has two businesses to keep himself afloat and pay rent. He works as a Pokémon breeder and has a crafting shop where he makes knitted goods for Pokémon. His property is located north of the city, up near in hills adjacent to where the legendary towers are.

EXTERIOR

The house is very traditional looking, which fondly reminds him of his birth kingdom, Hoshido. The property has several floors and is surrounded by a lot of overgrown foliage, which he honestly really likes. It’s quite an old building, but its age and wear only adds to how charmingly rustic it is.

ENTRANCE

The building is fenced in and a line of cobblestone rocks lead the way to the entrance. If it has been raining, be careful you don't slip on the moss! His Pokémon aren't often found playing outside the front for their own safety, but the back area is a lot more secured.

MAIN LOUNGE

This is the main lounge where he commonly entertains guests and meets with egg clients. The room is very much Pokémon and person friendly, with plenty of places to sit and lounge in all shapes and sizes. None of the furniture in his house was purchased by Corrin, it's part of the rent - but he absolutely loves it, so it's okay! The wooden coffee table normally has refreshments on it.

LIVING ROOM

Corrin also has a kotatsu because... heck yes, he does! This is his favourite place to hang out during the winter months. He's often spotted here knitting or sleeping, or entertaining close friends with board games or gossip. He really loves spending time under the kotatsu, and his Pokémon do too.

KITCHEN

His kitchen is modest in size and appearance, with honestly more Pokémon food than human food ... oops! There are plenty of jars and treats for Pokémon, and miscellaneous sweets to offer guests. Corrin ... can't cook so he mostly lives off pre-made meals and convenience store food. Cheeky boy.

DINING ROOM

There is a little dining area where he loves to eat with his Pokémon. He's never alone when he eats - there's always someome joining him at the table! He could have them eat on the floor out of bowls, but ... he just doesn't.

YARN STORAGE

Some dragons hoard gold: this dragon hoards yarn! He spins his own blends at MooMoo Farm on occasion with wool provided by his Altaria and his Mareep. Corrin's yarn is displayed in the open and ready for him to work with. A few balls may be laying around or missing due to Pokémon playing with them.

WORK

This is Corrin in his natural habitat: getting cosy somewhere in the house while he knits to pay his bills and cover the rent. He loves it, though! It's his absolute most favourite thing to do. If your character develops good CR with him, he may surprise them with something that he has knitted!

BEDROOM

His bedroom is up in the attic, and it's pretty modest as far as looks go. He's not really a material person, so he doesn't have many personal possessions. The only things he likes to spend his money on are ways for him to spoil his Pokémon and their babies, and collecting Pokémon plushies. They're just ... so cute! He has a good hoard of them on his bed that he sleeps with.

SPARE ROOMS

Passing through Ecruteak and need a place to rest? Corrin's got you covered! There are several spare beds tucked away in a few of the empty rooms for guests and travellers who would like to stay while passing through this part of Johto. No pay is required, all Corrin wants is to enjoy some company, really!

NURSERY

Since Corrin is a breeder, it's only natural that he has a nursery for Pokémon babies! There is a crib where he puts freshly hatched babies down to nap, and several baskets filled with blankets to store eggs in. There are toys in abundance and a rocking chair where he loves to cradle his eggs. So cute.

PLUSHIES & TOYS

If there is one thing Corrin loves purchasing, it's Pokémon plushies! He has a pretty decent collection, and they are always there for anyone that needs a cuddle. If you gift him a plushie, you'll have a friend for life. He can't get enough of them!

COSY CORNER

This is the part of his house that he calls the cosy corner! He loves to nap with Pokémon babies here, do arts and crafts or read books. When the weather is wet and rainy, this is the perfect spot to listen to the rain pour down the windows while digging into a good book. Or if he has special CR, he'll likely want to spend time with them here.

BATHROOM

His bathroom is very cute, but you are hard pressed to think you'll have any chance to bathe alone while there are baby Pokémon bumbling around. Corrin has gotten used to having no privacy at this point. Hopefully the same can be said for his guests who stay, but ... there are no guarantees!

NESTING GROUNDS

The centre of his property is a garden where Pokémon are left to their own devices to make eggs. How? We Just Don't Know! He calls it the "friendship zone" (what a nerd, oh my god) and knows that ultimately, one way or another, he will find eggs laid by Pokémon hidden in the brush after the've been uh. "friend making".

OUTDOORS

Adjacent to his property is a pond where Pokémon may be spotted taking a drink, bathing or swimming. It's not part of his rent, but it is a natural formation that he enjoys spending time near. Sometimes it can be really soul cleansing to listen to the water.
